The family immigrated from Canada in 1951 to the Los Angeles area seeking better work opportunities. Fr. He spent his freshman year learning a trade in the printing department, then transferred to the Salesian Junior Seminary in Watsonville, California. I was born in Alcala de Guadaira, Seville, Spain, and made my first religious profession with the Salesians of St. John Bosco August 30, 1981. Ordained a priest since June 2, 1990, I have worked in Youth Ministry, have been a principal in several Salesian Houses in Spain including La Linea de la Concepcion, Seville-Trinidad; Alcala de Guadaira; Las Palmas de Gran Canaria y Cadiz.
Currently I serve in the Salesian Community of Stockton as Parochial Vicar of St. Luke Parish. I give thanks to God who has let me live this extraordinary experience in California. From my first minute, I have felt welcomed and at home by the St. Luke’s Christian Community. I promise to give you all my love in return.
